Team Kill Media shows a first screenshot from Quantum State, the direct successor of Quantum error from last year.
Although the reviews to the first project Quantum error Although the results weren't exactly outstanding, the developer explained that they were still proud of their work and could only learn from it. Therefore, the following now follows. Quantum State, which is shown in a first screenshot.
Quantum State is intended to appeal to Metal Gear fans
So far, Team Kill Media on X reveals, will Quantum State A cinematic first-person shooter with a strong focus on stealth mechanics. With this, the developer aims to appeal to fans of, among others... Metal Gear-series. The screenshot itself shows a character holding a kind of lightsaber. The whole thing looks a bit like the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars, before he became Dauntless Vader.
Team Kill Media is revealing little about the game, which is still in the early stages of development. They have, however, clearly described it as an "evolution of Quantum Error." They also have not yet been able to provide a more precise release window.

Son and Bone will be released in 2024
For this purpose, the release of their second project Son and Bone for 204 approved, which is parallel to Quantum error it was created and sounds no less interesting.
Son and Bone The game takes place in a world overrun by prehistoric creatures. A local farm in Montana is raided by a group of notorious bandits, and Sheriff Sam Judge makes it his mission to bring them to justice and rescue the hostage. Players fight for their own survival and must find a way back to Earth.
In conclusion, Team Kill Media stated that all their games are developed entirely independently, without the involvement of a publisher, and therefore they only have a small team to work on them. Nevertheless, the developer believes they can deliver great things and are constantly learning and improving.
The slight setback with Quantum error Team Kill Media certainly hasn't been discouraged from continuing. The release of Quantum State and Son and Bones It is planned for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, as before.
Oh, how original! You bought a katana skin in the Unreal Store. Ah, never mind.
I also considered getting Quantum back then because it's exactly my kind of thing, but after seeing the first reactions on YouTube, I'm glad I didn't get it.
I'd rather wait for the MGS3 remake; the original isn't the issue, and as far as katana gameplay goes, there are plenty of alternatives: DMC5 (Virgil), FF7 Rebith (Sephiroth).
Ghost of Tushima and Ronin
I'm not buying any more games from them. I had Quantum Error on my radar before the PS5 was even released. I've had a PS5 since last year and have done extensive research, watched gameplay footage, etc. The game seems to be a complete disaster, and if it's true, it's also made up of tons of purchased assets. It's dull, repetitive, and technically poorly executed. No real story, loads of metal corridors, and copy-pasted enemies.
Despite everything, I still thought, okay, maybe this could be better than its reputation…
I bought Kings of Lorn from the same people a few days ago. What can I say... it's an outrage. Terrible frame rate, terrible performance, terrible graphics, terrible combat system, nothing is explained. The game freezes frequently.
Every time you open the story scrolls to read what's happening in the game, you can't get back into the game. There isn't even a freeze... you simply can't exit the menu, and this is years after release.
Back then, the price of the game was even increased on PC, with the justification that prices had to be adjusted due to the PS4 and Xbox releases… People who gave the game bad reviews did so because of the mistakes made at the time, and many would still play and pirate the game anyway.
They spouted exactly the same nonsense at Quantum Error. They take zero responsibility and always want to milk the first buyers.
If they're anything like Quantum Error... then it's game over. But let's wait and see. Every studio deserves another chance if they learn from their mistakes.
Quantum Error was the second chance... see my comment above.
...
Quantum Error was another one of their games? XD ufffff ok… I laughed my head off at Quantum Error and then listened to the PR spiel about getting everything out of the PS5.
Yes, the joke about the SSD was the best. Only possible on PS5.
Perhaps they should have optimized the game for PS4 and a SATA hard drive; then the game would run more smoothly than on the PS5.
