Developer Mercury Steam today unveils the newest character – Schneider – in their asynchronous multiplayer title 'Raiders of the Broken Planet'. Schneider belongs to the third campaign, 'Hades Betrayal', and can be recruited by all players.
A jack-of-all-trades, rude, grumpy, and far too clever for his own good—Schneider doesn't care what people call him, because he considers himself the future. Everyone else is just trained apes on the verge of extinction. Schneider built his SCHN31D3r drone when he was only 14 years old. Hacking the ridiculous technology of the Broken Planet for the Hades Division was child's play.
But after falling out of favor with his former employers following the Hades Betrayal campaign, Schneider joined forces with Harec's Raiders—his new teammates. In the game, Schneider enjoys playing cat and mouse with his enemies, luring them in to attack and then trapping them in a deadly crossfire with his drone's lethal firepower. As the antagonist, Schneider can also strategically use his drone to achieve the Raiders' objectives and prevent them from reaching theirs.
The third campaign of Broken Planet, Hades Betrayal, launched on April 4th and included a radical overhaul of the game's progression system, which has since been very well received by the community and has significantly increased the number of returning and new players, as Mercury Steam added today.
