Ubisoft will release the 'Operation Skull Rain' DLC for their tactical shooter 'Rainbow Six Siege' next week, including new operators and a new location – a Brazilian favela.
The two new operators this time are Caveira and Capitao, who can play either a defensive or offensive role. Caveira focuses on defensive abilities, allowing him to sneak up on enemies and relay their position to his team, while Capitao has a tactical arc that allows him to, for example, burn oxygen within a certain radius or fire smoke grenades.
The DLC also introduces new features, including the Tactical Realism game mode, in which players can no longer mark their enemies and must rely on tools like timers and compasses. Kill confirmation is also removed, and a more realistic magazine management system is implemented. The goal is to encourage better communication within the team, allowing players to share locations and confirm kills.
Ubisoft plans to reveal further details about 'Operation Skull Rain' this Friday. Season Pass holders can download the DLC for free starting August 02nd; it will be available to everyone else seven days later.
