I sincerely hope that more content will be released for Requiem, such as a story DLC and a comprehensive Mercenaries mode; then the wait will fly by.

With Resident Evil 2 Remake,
Resident Evil 4 Remake,
Resident Evil Requiem

and

With parts seven and eight, the series has firmly established itself as my favorite franchise, and Capcom as one of the best studios of all time. No matter what gets released or when, I'm on board. I'll buy remakes of Zero and Resident Evil sight unseen, and I'm looking forward to the interesting continuation of the storyline in the tenth installment, which ended with Leon and Grace and will presumably continue with the return of Chris and Jill, or Claire, I hope.

Thank you Capcom!

You forgot about Remake 3. Well, it's one of the weaker installments, but still good.

No, sorry, the only thing I like about Resident Evil 6 are Leon's two pistols. I used to give Resident Evil 6 points for its movement props, but even that's not good anymore. The tank controls in Resident Evil 1 or Resident Evil 5 are even better once you get used to them. Capcom should make a remake or at least a remaster in RE Engine. A remake like Requiem, where each of the four campaigns played differently, would be awesome, of course, but that would mean a huge financial risk because it would tie up a lot of people. After all, Resident Evil 6 was Capcom's most expensive game back then; I think more than 500 people worked on it. A remaster in RE Engine and a suitcase system would theoretically be enough for me, just like Revelations 1 and 2. I'm not sure about Resident Evil 5; Requiem already changes the lore a bit, so the events of Resident Evil 5 would have to be altered somewhat. Of the older Resident Evil games, I think Revelations 2 is the best because it's still the most modern in terms of movement. The raid mode, in particular, is brilliant.

On PC, there's a mod called Last Escape, still in alpha. It's being developed by a single person and is supposed to be closer to the original in terms of scope. I haven't tried it myself yet, but considering there are spiders in Requiem now, it has a lot of potential.
