Shortly before the start of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Capcom has released a new trailer for its upcoming animated series, which will premiere this July.

The series unfolds across two timelines, following fourteen-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker as they move to New Raccoon City, a planned community built from scratch, just as they enter the throes of puberty. But the more time they spend there, the more they realize that the city is more than it initially appears and that their father harbors dark secrets—secrets that could destroy the world.

The second narrative thread takes place more than ten years in the future: There are fewer than fifteen million people left on Earth. And more than six billion monsters – humans and animals infected with the T-virus. Now thirty years old, Jade fights for survival in this new world, while secrets from her past – about her sister, her father, and herself – continue to haunt her.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness It launches on Netflix in July.
