The development of 'Resident Evil 7' is progressing according to plan and is already 90 percent complete. This was revealed at a recent press event, which likely confirms the January release.
Capcom also showcased the PS4 Pro version for the first time, which attendees said looked incredibly detailed. However, photos or similar images were not permitted. Overall, there was great enthusiasm for what Capcom presented and what was playable. The new direction of the series is well-received and is intended to appeal especially to longtime fans, who will undoubtedly enjoy what Capcom has developed.

Played a new #RE7 demo; can't talk about what was in it specifically. But it was pretty darn good. Loving the game's focus and direction.

I think traditional RE fans, RE4-era RE fans & even Chronicles fans will find things in #RE7 that cater to what they like about each style.

Resident Evil 7 will be officially released on January 24, 2017, completely uncensored, as one recently confirmed could.
