The At Plague TaleThe series is apparently getting a new addition soon. Focus Entertainment has published a post on its Threads account that unintentionally revealed details about Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy The leak revealed that the third installment in the series will be released in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. An official announcement from publisher or developer Asobo Studio is still pending.
What do we know so far?
The Post on Threads This is considered the first concrete source for the game, although Focus Entertainment itself has not yet officially confirmed the news. The release could take place as part of the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 on June 8th – a common platform for announcing new Xbox and multiplatform titles.

A brief recap of the series
The At Plague Tale-series started in 2019 with A Plague Tale: Innocence and quickly attracted attention. The title was particularly compelling due to its dark, historical narrative set in 14th-century France, combined with stealth-oriented gameplay and a gripping atmosphere. The sequel, The Plague Tale: Requiem Released in 2022, it continued the story and improved technical aspects as well as the storytelling. Both games were very well received by critics and players and created a loyal fan base.

I bought it, I think the first two parts are great except for the ending in part 2, which is a bit too wokie for my taste. It's a great alternative to The Last of Us in terms of stealth gameplay, and hopefully there will be more weapons; there should be more than just a crossbow.
