Sony is releasing more and more PlayStation Classics outside of PlayStation Plus Premium. The first of these is today. Ridge racer and TekkenA rating board also hints at further titles.
Available now Ridge Racer Type 4, Ridge Racer 2, Mr. Driller and Tekken 2These should be available shortly. Tekken 6 and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny These are the results that were spotted at the Taiwanese rating board.
Each PlayStation Classic game costs €9.99 in the PlayStation Store. These games have been converted from their original PlayStation versions for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and enhanced with new features. These can include improved graphics, rewind, quicksave, and custom video filters. Some titles also support trophies.

However, this can sometimes mean that certain features or content that were present in the original version of the game are unavailable. For example, Ridge Racer Type 4 is missing the content from the bonus disc. Ridge Racer – High Spec Ver. and Namco Catalogue '98Some peripheral devices from that era are also not supported. More PlayStation Classics titles are likely to follow over time.
PlayStation Classics are part of Plus Premium, which additionally offers all the benefits of PlayStation Plus Essential and PlayStation Plus Extra, as well as access to the Classics catalog with original PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and PSP games, trial versions of selected games and cloud streaming.
Besides the separate purchase, PlayStation Plus Premium is available for €16.99 per month, €49.99 per quarter or €119,99 per year, which is approximately €10 per month.
