Crytek's 'Robinson: The Journey' will also support the PS4 Pro from launch, and its features were revealed by Crytek today. Players can expect even more graphical enhancements, including higher-resolution textures and SSAO.

Even though PlayStation VR games already have a fixed resolution that is essentially unchangeable, the game itself is rendered at a higher resolution, resulting in even sharper visuals. This is an aspect that is currently viewed very critically in many VR games. Another feature is Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO), which allows for the use of additional shadows in the game without impacting performance.

Furthermore, the perceived draw distance in the game will be increased by reducing effects like fog, allowing players to see more of the game world without it becoming blurry. Texture filtering will also be improved, ensuring that smaller details are still visible even at a distance. Overall, the game's visuals will be enhanced, resulting in smoother transitions between graphical details.
