After 24 years, Square Enix will release 'Romancing SaGa 2' this December for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
The release was hinted at back in April of this year, with 'Romancing SaGa 3' appearing at a later date. Originally released in Japan in 1993, Romancing SaGa 2 allows players to sit on the throne of the Varennes Empire and guide several generations of rulers in their valiant struggle against the Seven Heroes. Players can control a variety of protagonists and shape the empire according to their will, ensuring that each player experiences a different story.
On the latest hardware, players can enjoy Romancing SaGa 2 with a selection of improved features compared to the original.

- New character classes offer even more depth and tactical possibilities for gameplay and combat.
- Four new dungeons that offer a deeper insight into the mystery of the Seven Heroes.
- The New Game+ feature transfers character attributes and items into a brand new game, allowing players to enjoy the story with items they previously missed out on and to win back companions they originally had to sacrifice.
Romancing SaGa 2 will be released on December 15, 2017.
