Koei Tecmo is sharing further details today about Samurai Warriors 5, which discuss the skills required for 1-vs-1.000 battles.
In Samurai Warriors 5 Raids will be enhanced with new Ultimate Skill attacks that players can use to confront their enemies. Ultimate Skills are powerful attacks that can be used during combat.
Players can equip up to four skills simultaneously, such as Avalanche, which thrusts a large spear into the ground, creating a shockwave that stuns nearby enemies. Recovery allows players to recharge their attack, defense, or Mosou gauge. Relentless Storm sends enemies flying, and Pulse, a combo-friendly skill, allows players to link Ultimate abilities and Musou attacks.
Hyper attacks are also returning to the game. These allow players to cover great distances while attacking their enemies. They are perfect as an opening move in any battle, as they can be combined with a standard attack.
New playable characters
In addition to the new battle details, nine more characters join the fight. These important figures include Kanbei Kuroda, Shikanosuke Yamanaka, Sena, Hanbei Takenaka, Kazuuji Nakamura, Tadakatsu Honda, Toshiie Maeda, Oichi, and Nagamasa Azai.
All of the game's character models were completely redesigned in a vibrant style to bring the Sengoku period to life in a spectacular and impressive way.
