Furthermore, the update now prevents players from falling through the floor in the cathedral or in elevators and ending up outside the game world.

The late polishing of the niche
If boss phases aren't fixed until weeks after release, it's clear that quality control was simply negligent beforehand. A technically impressive game shouldn't have unstable elevators or disappearing level sections.
While the HDR correction is commendable, it doesn't change the fact that the game felt unfinished at launch. The studio statement focuses solely on bug fixes.

I recently platinumed the game without any problems. I only encountered the bug twice where the boss's health bar wasn't displayed correctly. Awesome game! Around 40 hours of fun. I was happy to support Housemarque with the 80 bucks I spent on it.
I encountered another bug today; a boss got stuck in its animation loop, and I couldn't finish the fight. So much for the idea that €80 for a first-party game is bug-free. Before anyone argues it's just a "small studio," I don't care. For €80, the game shouldn't have any bugs, period.
