The interactive Silent Hill experience – Silent Hill: Ascension – launches right on Halloween. This date was mentioned in the Google Play Store, among other places, and is part of the comprehensive Silent Hill initiative, which also includes the remake of Silent Hill 2 for a trip to the Winterlude.
Im Google Play Store To put it quite precisely:
"Silent Hill: Ascension premieres on October 31. Experience the live world premiere at 21:00 PM ET / 18:00 PM PT."
In this live experience, players follow various main characters who are haunted by new and terrifying monsters from Silent Hill in locations around the world. These monsters lurk in the shadows and threaten to devour people, their children, and entire towns, as they are drawn into darkness by both recent murders and long-suppressed guilt and fear.
Players decide the course of events.
Throughout the series, the audience decides the course of events and the ending. Which characters survive the final scene? Are the survivors redeemed, damned, or do they suffer? Even the creators don't know how. Silent Hill: Ascension will end. Instead, the fate of the characters lies in the hands of the audience.
“We put a lot of effort into creating a dreamlike world in Silent Hill: Ascension, with disturbing, highly detailed characters, eerie monsters, an immersive atmosphere, and overall audio and visual design that our team is very proud of,” said Chris Amaral, Art Director at Bad Robot Games. “The detailed environments, dark atmosphere, and realistic characters and monsters are intended to enhance the horror experience and create something that is SILENT HILL in its purest form, while also feeling unique to the franchise.”
This will feature a large set of new characters, monsters, and locations in the Silent Hill-Universe. Viewers can expect an exciting new story that utilizes Genvid's interactive real-time system to give millions of people the opportunity to help the characters survive and change their fate.
The launch announcement should follow shortly, provided the date is correct.
