Among the numerous Silent Hill-Games already announced by Konami, with Silent Hill: The Short Message It also keeps coming up as a title that the publisher is officially still holding back.
Several rating boards are now preempting this, not only creating initial platforms for Silent Hill: The Short Message They not only confirm, but also reveal information about the story and artwork. Accordingly, it will appear Silent Hill: The Short Message at least on PS5, while other platforms are still pending.
First details about the story
This will be from Taiwanese rating board The description has been supplemented with initial story details in which the player must confront a woman's fears and fate. It further states:
"Anita arrived at an abandoned apartment to meet her friend Maya and somehow woke up to find herself trapped inside. She must escape her own fears and the monsters lurking in the corridors, uncover the truth behind the events that have trapped her, and try to escape before her own trauma consumes her will to survive."
Furthermore, a first, distorted piece of artwork was shown, which also confirms the game's title. When Konami Silent Hill: The Short Message It remains unclear when it will be officially unveiled. The title suggests it will be a demo similar to PT, used to showcase upcoming Silent Hill projects.
Given the initial age ratings, the release and therefore the announcement may not be too far off.
