It's been a long time coming to Skype for the PlayStation Vita. After initial hints, Sony has now confirmed that the app will be available starting tomorrow.

In addition to the usual text chat, video calls via Wi-Fi and 3G will also be possible. Calls between Skype users are even free, and calls to other numbers are possible with Skype Credits. The front and rear cameras offer high-quality resolution, and a background mode is supported while using other apps or playing games. Besides the PS Vita's built-in microphone, all Skype-certified headsets are also supported.

Skype will be released for free on PS Vita.
