CI Games will release their tactical shooter 'Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts' in November, returning to the roots of the sniper franchise. It will offer top-tier sniping and empowerment players more ways than ever before to eliminate their targets.
A trailer released today also highlights the thrill of being a sniper. Named Black Gold, this is the second of five unique regions featured in the game. Each of these regions is based on real locations deep in the heart of Siberia. Black Gold, for example, is the perfect place to test the brand-new Dynamic Reticle System, which allows players to better control the ballistics and atmospheric conditions of each shot.
Given Contracts' more realistic approach to combat, which focuses on sniping, stealth, and tactical thinking, the Dynamic Reticle System isn't the only new tool available to players. From pilotable scout drones and integrated binoculars with a built-in reconnaissance system to augmented reality masks and specialized ammunition types, players can familiarize themselves with a whole arsenal of new gadgets. Whether at long range or in the heat of a firefight, these new tools serve to enhance the rich, tactical gameplay for which the Sniper Ghost Warrior series is known.
At the heart of the game is the brand-new Contracts system. Scattered throughout each region are Main Contracts that task players with completing key objectives to advance into new areas. While there are a total of 25 main contracts that form the core of the campaign narrative, each region also functions as a sniping sandbox, packed with side objectives to complete. With its focus on evolving combat, no two deployments play out the same. This encourages players to tackle contracts multiple times if they want to earn money to upgrade their equipment between missions.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts also offers a wealth of different gameplay options, from a thorough single-player campaign to a range of multiplayer modes that will keep you on your toes with every encounter. Get your scope wiped and your jacket on, because the harsh Siberian wilderness will challenge even the most seasoned snipers.
