Song of the Deep achieves gold status & will be released in July

Insomniac Games can announce today that their underwater exploration adventure 'Song of the Deep' has gone gold and will therefore be released on schedule in July.

The game is described as a journey of courage and discovery in a lonely world. It's a journey of love and heartbreak, with a story about who we are and what we protect. But it's also a story about being heroic and how we sometimes lose sight of our own best qualities.

You take on the role of a submarine exploring a beautiful and deadly underwater world filled with challenges and puzzles. The game promises comprehensive abilities and upgrades needed to master it, all within a vast Metroidvania environment.

Song of the Deep will be available from July 12th.
