This includes not only Sonic, but also new versions of Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. As a special highlight, Sonic and LEGO have teamed up for exciting downloadable content, where fans will soon receive the Blue Blur as a brick with a free LEGO Sonic skin. Those who pre-order Sonic Superstars will also get access to a special skin that transforms Eggman into LEGO Eggman.

Sonic Superstars release in October?
According to SEGA, Sonic Superstars will be released this fall, but several retailers are now citing a release date of October 17th, although this still needs to be officially confirmed.
Sonic and his friends begin their journey on the beautiful North Star Islands, a mystical place with completely new environments and the setting for an exciting new story.
There they will encounter gigantic creatures, exciting adventures, and the evil plans of Dr. Eggman, who can now gain Emerald powers by collecting Chaos Emeralds.
Behind it lies a classic 2D platformer, completely reimagined for current platforms, offering new zones, music, gameplay, and modern UHD visuals made possible only by 3D graphics. Sonic's controls and movement within the game world still feel familiar and will delight both experienced and new fans alike.
Sonic Superstars also offers a local co-op mode for 4 players, so fans can experience the whole story alone or with friends.
