Sony has announced a new PS Vita firmware update (v2.06), which should be rolled out very soon. The publisher shared this information via Twitter.

Version 2.06 improves system stability for some software titles and includes other features, without going into detail.

The update will likely be released on Tuesday night into Wednesday and will then be available via the system menu of your PS Vita.

The new firmware update is now available for download. Among other things, it fixes the security vulnerability in the web browser that in February was discovered by the company majorsecurity.com.
