Sony is currently preparing the release of PS4 firmware 1.71, which will be available very soon, probably this week.
No new features are expected this time, so Sony is only talking about an improvement in software stability.

Previously, some users reported problems with the current firmware 1.70, so a corrective update was expected as usual.

PS4 firmware version 1.71 is now available for download. In addition to several bug fixes, it now allows up to 100 party members in the chat.
