Sony will launch its new FlexStrike wireless combat stick worldwide on August 6, 2026, for €199,99. Shortly after, on August 27, a new 27-inch gaming monitor will follow for $349,99, initially only in the USA and Japan.
Later in the year, the wireless Pulse Elevate desktop speakers will complete the new hardware lineup, which is intended to bring more PlayStation players to their desks, even if the PC strategy seems to be off the table for now.
FlexStrike: Tournament suitability with a price shock
The FlexStrike fighting stick is optimized for the release of "MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls". Sony delivers native compatibility for PS5 and PC, packaged in a portable design complete with carrying case and battery. This is practical for tournament players.
The price of nearly €200 will certainly sting your wallet. That's a hefty sum. Pre-orders start on June 12th at 10:00 AM CET directly via PlayStation Direct and in stores. Anyone wanting to get their hands on one will have to be quick, as Sony has already announced limited quantities.
European gamers, however, are out of luck when it comes to the gaming monitor. The 27-inch model with integrated DualSense charging stand offers QHD resolution, VRR, and up to 120 Hz on the PS5 and PS5 Pro. It even supports 240 Hz on PC.
A powerful package for the desktop. But only for the US and Japan. Why Sony is completely excluding the European market with this display remains unclear. Pre-orders start there on June 5th.

The monitor should be matched to the Pulse Elevate Wireless Speakers To complete the setup, Sony promises the audio technology of its Pulse headsets in a speaker format. Details regarding price and release are still pending.
Sony delivers solid hardware ideas for competitive and desktop gamers. The FlexStrike stick seems well-designed, but it puts a significant dent in the budget. The fact that the monitor completely ignores Europe is a bitter disappointment for the local community.
