While many are just now turning their attention to gamescom in August, EGX is establishing itself year after year as another gaming event in the heart of the capital. This year, Sony PlayStation will also be officially represented there.
The German edition of the successful gaming event series, taking place in Berlin for the first time from September 28th to 30th, offers visitors the unique opportunity to play PlayStation-exclusive titles in a relaxed atmosphere before their official release. Sony will be showcasing exclusively new titles that visitors can try out at the event.
"We made a very good start with Sony PlayStation," says Event Director Oliver Menne, “But we are delighted to announce many more top-class participants in the coming days and weeks!” In addition to countless gaming opportunities without long queues, more than 25 interesting panels and presentations are planned to provide insights into the inner workings of game development. With large stages, pen-and-paper role-playing events, retro collections, cosplay, community parties, esports tournaments, and much more, the organizers of EGX Berlin aim to create a truly exciting highlight for gaming fans in Germany that is in no way inferior to the British original.”
