Sony has released another crucial firmware update for its Bravia TV series, which will bring the VRR feature and PS5-specific functions to more devices.

The VRR update is initially only available for the X85J, X86J, and X89 series models, while the premium OLED models from 2020 and later will have to wait. Additionally, there are various new features in conjunction with the PS5, presumably including auto-HDR mapping, a 360 spatial sound personalizer for the headset's own neckband speakers, and various optimizations.
