The recent rumors Ubisoft has officially confirmed a PS4 and Xbox One version of 'South Park: The Stick of Truth'. This will mark the first time the title will be released as a standalone game on the new generation of consoles.

It takes players to the perilous battlefields of a fourth-grader's playground, where a young hero destined to become South Park's savior will rise. The player equips themselves with legendary weapons to battle Underpants Sprites, hippies, and other forces of evil. They discover the Stick of Truth and earn a place as a new friend alongside series characters Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny. If the player succeeds, they become the savior of South Park and solidify their social standing at South Park Elementary School. If the player fails, they will go down in history as a loser.
