'South Park: The Fractured But Whole' from Ubisoft has been available for several weeks now and has been continuously updated since then.

Patch 1.05 was released today, introducing a new difficulty level and fixing minor bugs, including some localization issues. You can find the official changelog below:

  • Towelie hints can now be toggled on or off from the Options menu
  • New, harder combat difficulty setting, “Diabolic” added
  • Numerous localized audio and text issues resolved
  • Various other minor bug fixes

For those who have already finished the game, this offers the opportunity to relive all the fun.

For those who want to try out South Park: The Fractured But Whole, it is now available... a demo of the game Available on the PlayStation Store, this demo offers all interested players the opportunity to explore a part of the fascinating world of South Park. The gameplay remains unchanged for the demo, however, playtime is limited to one hour. Should players decide to purchase the full game afterward, their progress will be saved and can be easily transferred to the main game.

Hazard Deck expansion released

The Danger Deck expansion also brings a brand-new challenge that teleports players to previously unseen locations in South Park. There, they will encounter enemies specially created by the Freedom Pals. Players access the Danger Deck via the Freedom Pals' base by interacting with the Danger Deck terminal. From there, players and their team of superheroes are transported into holographic battles.

The encounters become increasingly difficult, pushing each superhero to their limits. Players will face a variety of enemies in battle, including the Crab King, cocaine-addled cops, Rebecca, the Raisins Girl, and Aunt Sheila. As a reward, players receive items and costumes that can be used even after restarting the game.

In addition to Danger Deck, the Season Pass for South Park: The Fractured But Whole will include the upcoming expansion "From Dusk till Casa Bonita." In this new story, players team up with the Coon and Mysterion to defeat a demonic presence in Casa Bonita. Furthermore, "Bring the Crunch" will introduce another story and a brand-new superhero class.
