Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive today released the extensive Ridge update for 'Spintires: MudRunner', which includes a brand new map, two new vehicles, and for the first time, a new gameplay mode.
In The Ridge, you'll find a towering mountain ridge that divides the map into two areas and is incredibly difficult to cross. This becomes even more challenging with the introduction of the two new vehicles, the D-538 and the B-6A, which also bring with them an interesting add-on.
The Ridge, Scavenge as a new game mode
The new 'Scavenge' game mode is distinguished by the absence of log stations. This means you can't collect and transport logs. Instead, there are now randomly generated "Scavenge Locations." These locations are two or three positions that are randomly selected each time the map is launched and generate static logs that must be collected with a crane.
Saber Interactive is also working on the USA map, but no details can be released at this time. They are currently looking into which licensed vehicles can be used for it.
