Although all signs pointed to the imminent unveiling of a Spyro remaster, the online giant Amazon has now preempted this and leaked the 'Spyro Reignited Trilogy'.
According to Amazon Mexico, this is the name of the re-release, which includes the three games Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The collection reportedly contains over 100 playable levels, all graphically overhauled and said to be visually stunning. A release date of September 21, 2018, is also mentioned, and what appears to be the final box art is shown.
An official announcement of the remaster is expected later today, along with all the details from Activision. The first screenshots from the game are also attached.
