Besides the new Star Wars game from Respawn – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order -, whose name has at least been confirmed, EA and DICE also announced new content for 'Star Wars: Battlefront II', which will be released later this year.
Players can look forward to a Clone Wars DLC, as well as new heroes and villains, including General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin, and Count Dooku. A new planet, Geonosis, has also been confirmed, where you'll be able to explore several levels and locations, including one of the largest levels seen in the game so far. A new squad system is also in development, making it easier for players to connect with their friends, and a new Starfighter Mode focusing on the Hero ships is also on the way.
Furthermore, at the EA PLAY event, they reiterated that they had truly taken the fans' feedback to heart, taken a step back, and were now presenting the game that the fans had initially wanted.
The exact release date for the Clone Wars DLC will be announced later.
