DICE has postponed the next major update for 'Star Wars: Battlefront II', citing the coronavirus and the current restructuring towards home offices as the reason.
Although work on the update continues, it is slightly delayed, which is why the Battle on Scarif update is not expected until later. around mid-April can deliver.
"As you may have noticed, DICE started working from home last week to best protect the health and well-being of the team. The Star Wars team has now moved from our office to working from home."
Work on the game continues, but the transition from the office environment to working from home has had some impact on our workflows. We are currently streamlining these processes and will adjust them further as needed.
For this reason, we have decided to postpone the release of the Battle on Scarif update until mid-April. This is our new target timeframe, but as the situation evolves, we will keep you updated on any further adjustments.
Further details about the update will follow in the coming weeks. In the meantime, a Double XP event will run from March 27th to 29th to keep you entertained.
