Tomorrow, Wednesday, the final The Battle on Scarif update for 'Star Wars: Battlefront II' will be released, which DICE is showcasing again today. This also marks the end of content support after two years.
The update brings the Age of Rebellion to Supremacy and Instant Action, promising more high-profile battles on Hoth, Tatooine, Yavin 4, the Death Star II, and the tropical environments from Rogue One. These battles will be fought exclusively on the ground, however, as the update is already massive. On the other hand, it allows players to control starfighters at a selection of Age of Rebellion Supremacy locations.
Scarif and Crait are also joining the Heroes and Villains game modes, and the MC85 Star Cruiser, the First Order Star Destroyer, and Scarif are being added to the co-op mode. Also new is an offline co-op mode with AI.
As a thank you, all players will also receive three new items inspired by the final chapter of the Skywalker saga: Rey wields her yellow lightsaber, Kylo Ren wears his newly forged mask with the hood up, and Emperor Palpatine sports his latest, menacing robe. There's also a chance to obtain Darth Maul and his appearance as the Old Master. Rey's hooded look, however, will be awarded to anyone who uncovers the secret of Takodana...
