Sony returns with a new edition of the State of PlayThe show goes live tonight at 23:00 PM CEST – as usual on YouTube, Twitch, and here as well. We're planning around 40 minutes of fresh material on current and upcoming PS5 titles.
Sony doesn't name any specific games. Instead, they speak generally of contributions "worldwide developer“One thing is certain: The stream is in English; co-streams are allowed, but are subject to the known restrictions.”
Whether there will be big surprises or just minor updates remains to be seen – reliable leaks are still lacking. All the highlights will be available here afterwards!

It was clear what a flop event it was once again.
Positives
Capcom saved the show with the gameplay of Pragmata, not Show SH. If I want to play a horror game with school uniforms, I can play Project Zero; I don't need Silent Hill for that... whatever.
Negatives
Oh boy, I don't know where to begin...
-Aha, we don't want enough accessories, now we're getting a wireless arcade stick... Yeah, right, the first wireless stick! Who was to blame all this time for third-party developers only being able to offer wired ones? That's right, Sony themselves, because they wouldn't release the Bluetooth protocol. Besides, this thing is at least a generation too late and will probably cost €200+, but I know for some consumer victims it will still be "too cheap".
Then there's another Marvel fighting game from Arc Systems in close collaboration with Sony... Congratulations, Capcom is surely looking forward to that, having only just recently reconnected with Marvel through the collection. Now fans can wait another 10 years until Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is released.
Perhaps that's why Resident Evil 9 wasn't shown at Stage of Play... I think if I were Capcom, I wouldn't have shown it either, on principle.
Otherwise the show was boring and, as always, a waste of time. Super Ghost of Yotai: on one State of Play, another State of Play is announced… great show.
