A nice game in itself, but unfortunately over-marketed and plastered with an overly poppy art style.
I really like the gameplay development itself, but the surrounding aspects put me off after the first few weeks.
Besides, it's way too big. I'm not going to sacrifice 100+ GB for a few quick rounds. A Street Fighter game needs to be accessible, streamlined, and ready to play instantly – not a storage hog, no pop-up noise, no update loader, etc.
It's probably because you have the World Tour mode installed. You can uninstall it separately. Personally, I like the art style; the characters look awesome. Terry and Mai look even better than in their own games without losing their unique look. The sci-fi characters are top-notch in my opinion; Kuma has never looked better.
And the ladies, holy shit. I don't usually pay that much attention, but it's pretty hardcore to miss the physics. ^^ I also love the hip-hop attitude; it reminds me of SF3. I really wish they'd break the four-figure cycle. So many iconic characters are still missing, like Vega, Balrog, Evil Ryu, Dan, Sakura, Gouken (I'd love to have that one), Sean, Gill, Urien, and to top it all off, two Tekken guest figures, maybe Kazuya and Riana, two Marvel/X-Men figures, Wolverine and Rogue, two MK figures, Zub Zero/Scorpion and Sonja Blade. And more skins, for example, crossovers from other brands like SF5 had with Resident Evil, DMC, Onimusha, etc. With this graphics engine, some characters would look like other figures. Look at Ken, he looks like Dante from DMC5, face-wise. With a suitable skin, you could easily add a new character to the game without breaking the balance. Cyborg Zangief is a good start.
It looks great, but I really hope they upgrade to 6 fighters next season. Four fighters per season pass is too few, the time between fighter releases is a bit long, and the hype can only be sustained to a limited extent considering it's a Game of Thrones (GAS). The same applies to Tekken 8.
