Subnautica: Below Zero & free PS5 upgrade for Subnautica released

From today onwards, the depths of the ocean can be explored in Subnautics: Below Zero explore, which is available now for PlayStation 4 and PS5. At the same time, the original Subnautica a free PS5 upgrade was provided.

Subnautics: Below Zero picks up after the original story of Subnautica It challenges players to explore and survive the ice biomes on Planet 4546B. Craft tools, scavenge for supplies, and unravel the next chapter in the Subnautica story.

Following a mysterious incident, Alterra fled in haste. Abandoned research stations litter the area, but what happened to the scientists who lived and worked there? Records, artifacts, and databases found among the rubble paint a new picture of the incident. With your resources limited, you'll have to improvise.

Ahead of you lie undiscovered biomes to explore. Climb snow-covered peaks and venture into the icy caves of the glacial basin. Find a way through erupting thermal vents to uncover ancient artifacts and secrets.

Free PS5 upgrade for Subnautica

With today's release of Subnautica: Below Zero, a free upgrade for the original Subnautica is also available. Since the title was recently free with PlayStation Plus, you can most likely get the upgrade for free as well.
