Grimorio of Games and JanduSoft are showing the anime opening today for Sword of the NecromancerThe new trailer offers another glimpse into the story, the enemies, and the atmosphere of the adventure.
Sword of the Necromancer is a dungeon-crawler action role-playing game with roguelike elements, in which you can revive your defeated enemies to fight by your side. Each attempt brings you closer to becoming the Necromancer.
Upon death, you lose all your equipped weapons and monsters, but you retain a portion of your previously achieved level. As you delve deeper into the dungeon, you'll uncover more of Tama and Coco's past. Using the Homunculus Bottle, you can even create a copy of yourself and play with a friend in local co-op.
"Sword of the Necromancer is inspired by roguelike games such as Enter the Gungeon, 2D Zelda games like A Link to the Past, and features monster-capturing mechanics inspired by Azure Dreams. The goal was to create a fluid combat system with a strong focus on head-to-head combat and relying on monster summoning for special actions and attacks. It all works together to create a truly impactful combat experience."
