Besides GTA V and GTA Online Publisher Take-Two expects to bring more, albeit older, games to the PS5 and Xbox Series X. However, no specific titles were mentioned.

According to the Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick It's up to the individual studios and developers whether they revisit their back catalog, which in this case at least applies to backward compatibility. Whether the games will be remastered to suit the new hardware will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

“Regarding the question of whether more older titles will be brought to the next generation of consoles, we always leave those announcements to our labels, but I am sure there will be more in the future,” said Zelnick.

Currently, only from GTA V and GTA Online It is known that it will be released as a remaster for PS5 and XSX, plus the already confirmed cross-gen titles such as NBA 2K21.

Let's hope that the next generation, due to the easier hurdles, doesn't primarily define itself as a remaster generation again.
