Bandai Namco is today giving a first look at the roster of 'Tekken 7', but also has bad news for fans of Roger Jr., who will deliberately not be included this time.

Also taking part are Marshall Law, Feng, Bob, Bryan, Devil Jin, Hwoarang, Gigas and Katarina, who are introduced in more detail in the first part of the roster highlights and who all have personal reasons for participating in the Tekken tournament.

Regarding Roger Jr.'s removal, his departure is due to rather curious circumstances, as producer Katsuhiro Harada explains. Some time ago, there were protests stemming from a video from Australia (see here) that went viral a few weeks ago. The video shows a kangaroo putting a dog in a headlock and being punched in the face by its owner. According to Harada, many people complained about this, so they decided to avoid any potential issues with the game from the outset. However, this doesn't affect the panda Kuma, who will remain in Tekken, at least until someone actually punches a panda.
