En Masse Entertainment today released their MMORPG 'Tera' for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with the launch trailer. The title promises a gigantic world with fantastic characters, 'Big Ass Monsters' (BAMs), and precision-based, combo-driven combat.
The controls have been specifically adapted for the console versions, including an optimized user interface, intelligent button mapping, and new gameplay systems. The fast-paced combat, skill-based aiming and positioning, and rapid combos also deliver a visual experience that works perfectly on consoles. With its diverse character classes, TERA offers a wide range of options to suit almost every playstyle, providing a unique gaming experience. Players can quest solo, bring friends, find new allies, and take on the Big Ass Monsters (BAMs).
"After a very successful launch, players can now experience TERA as a console MMORPG," says Matt Denomme, Senior Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. "The development team at Bluehole has taken great care to ensure that TERA on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One retains the full depth of an MMO, along with visual action and an intuitive user interface."
Other features and gameplay highlights include:
- New lock-on system: Easy to use and extremely useful for keeping enemies in sight. TERAIts trademark action-combat gameplay can now be enjoyed on television.
- Class-specific controls: Each character class has its own default control scheme. If players don't like the control layout for their class, they can change it as they wish.
- Combat Effective Interface: The game's user interface has been redesigned with a new, fully customizable radial menu for quick and intuitive access to weapons and items.
- Streaming features: Players can easily stream TERA to the community via Twitch and Mixer with integrated streaming support.
- Communication is key: Players can communicate directly with other group members via native voice chat support or deactivate the chat at any time.
Tera is now available via the PlayStation Store.
