Prime Matter has announced the release date for their horror title The Chant confirmed for November, with which one can the The Dark Pictures-series from Supermassive Games wants to provide some competition.
When a ritual chant goes awry during a quest for spiritual enlightenment, the group's negative energy at the Prismic Science Spiritual Retreat unleashes a dimension of cosmic terror. To survive, protagonist Jess must uncover the secrets of a cult from both the past and present, while the other members of the group slowly succumb to madness at the hands of a swarm of parasitic creatures.
The Chant This promises fascinating characters and plenty of reasons to join the adventure on Glory Island. Players can expect an exciting journey that reveals the strengths and weaknesses of each participant in the spiritual retreat.

The Chant It will be released on November 03, 2022. A new trailer released today provides fresh insights into the game, which will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The last-gen versions have been cancelled.
