Today we get further insights into the cosmic horror title. The Chant from Prime Matter and Brass Token. It focuses on vital resources.

In the new video, you follow Creative Director Mike Skupa as he delves into the game's subject matter and explains what The Chant turns into a cosmic horror-action-adventure.

The balance between mind, body, and soul is essential for the protagonist Jess's well-being. All actions in The Chant influence the balance between these factors and determine how history unfolds. is coming to an end. Together with Jess, the player gathers and crafts – and uncovers the secrets of the past, while trying to survive in the face of various threats inside and outside The Gloom.

The decision to fight or flee is vital for survival, as Jess weighs the use of resources, spiritual weapons, and abilities against the creatures and cultists emerging from the darkness.

“This gameplay video explains how we combined survival, action, and exploration mechanics to create a unique cosmic horror experience. As we guide players through different areas of Glory Island, they will discover how the mind, body, and soul system influences both the current action and the development of the story,” explains Mike Skupa, Creative Director of The Chant.

Previously, one had the enigmatic and colorful characters introduced, explored the nooks and crannies of Glory Island and offered a glimpse of the cultic origins of the game thrown.
