An insider preview is currently running. The Crew Motorfest, which has now also been extended to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Further details have leaked via Reddit, even though participants are not actually allowed to publish any information from it.
The Insider Preview officially launched on May 31st on consoles, which were accessed by a larger pool of players. We were also able to take a look, but unfortunately, we can't share any of our own information yet.
We therefore gather our first impressions from Reddit, which we can largely endorse. Accordingly, the physics is much better than in The Crew 2, with a more detailed physics model, "especially the way in which suspension, body roll and tire grip are handled." Drifting has been significantly improved and now features the same capabilities as in previous models. Need for Speed Unbound via a "brake to drift" mechanic, but implemented in a much more realistic way.
Vehicles can also The Crew 2 They will be included, at least in the preview version. Whether that will still be the case in the final version is uncertain. Airplanes and boats are also mentioned again, even though Motorfest originally intended to focus solely on cars.
The Crew Motorfest It also offers three assistance options: beginner, intermediate, and expert. According to the leak, the intermediate level feels great and is best played with a controller.

The Crew multiplayer has been significantly improved.
The multiplayer mode has been greatly expanded, allowing significantly more players to be on the map simultaneously. The slightly smaller Hawaii map is described as excellent and features more detail than in the previous version. The Crew 2The user interface is intended to be much better and much easier to navigate. The upgrade system no longer uses loot box-style drops, but returns to... The Crew 1-style of performance upgrades back, which makes a much better change.
Overall, the insider preview is described as extremely polished, as if the release were imminent. Changes are, of course, always possible before the release.
