Ubisoft today confirmed the release date for 'The Crew 2', which will be released in March 2018. They also announced registration for the beta test today.
From coast to coast, players will experience the thrill of a vast, diverse, and action-packed open world of the USA, completely reimagined for motorsports. In The Crew 2, racers will explore America and compete for the title of Motornation Champion. With a huge collection of exotic cars, motorcycles, boats, and planes, they will dominate the motorsports scene on land, water, and air. Players will find challenges and inspiration across four motorsports families: Street Racing, Off-Road, Pro Racing, and Freestyle. They will also have a wide range of options within the extensive selection of vehicle types.
For the very first time, The Crew 2 features the Fast Fav feature, allowing players to seamlessly switch between their favorite land, water, and air vehicles at the touch of a button. Players can speed off the Golden Gate Bridge at full throttle and instantly switch to a speedboat as soon as they reach the bay. Catch a big wave, and they can jump straight into the cockpit of an aerobatic plane and fly off into the sunset. Players have complete freedom to explore the familiar landscapes of The Crew 2's vast open world in any way they choose.
Players seeking the thrill of racing can also put their skills to the test and compete in a wide range of competitive disciplines. In addition to the previously announced disciplines of Street Racing, Powerboat Racing, Aerobatics, Jet Sprint, and Rally Raid, three more disciplines will be revealed this week at gamescom. In Drift, street racing fans will burn rubber, taking every corner with style to earn more points with each glorious drift. The Alpha Grand Prix single-seater is tailor-made for pro racers looking for the perfect track. Deep in nature lies a muddy motocross course for all off-road specialists eager to master the mud track and conquer every hill.
