The animated series "The Cuphead Show!", based on the successful indie game "Cuphead," now has an official release date. According to Netflix, the series will premiere on the streaming platform on February 18th and, as in the game, will focus on the brothers Cuphead and Mugman.
According to Netflix, the series will be a retro-style comedy in which the two chaotic brothers leave their home to embark on various adventures. Along the way, they encounter their greatest nemesis, a very peculiar devil, and bring plenty of fun for young and old to television screens with lots of nostalgia and a healthy dose of humor.
In addition to CJ Kettler and Cosmo Segurson, Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer will also serve as lead producers and, together with Netflix Animations and Dave Wasson (Mickey Mouse Shorts), will realize the series.
For big fans of the series, Netflix has also launched an interactive website called "Cuphead Countdown", which counts down to the release.
