The Cycle – Console version still possible

Berlin-based developer Yager (Spec Ops: The Line) is still considering a console version of their shooter 'The Cycle', even though that is anything but official at the moment.

The Cycle is a first-person shooter where you fight in short matches (around 20 minutes) to complete objectives and compete against others. The game takes place on the planet Fortuna III, where you'll encounter various alien monsters, but the planet itself is also deadly if you stay there too long.

Currently, Yager is focusing exclusively on the PC version, but a recent FAQ from publisher THQ confirms that other platforms will be considered. It states:

"The Cycle is available for PC with Windows OS. For the future, we are considering additional platforms."

Besides the current generation, the PS5 and Xbox Series X would of course be conceivable options, as they are the ones that could most easily compete with current gaming PCs. We may learn more about this in the coming months.
