The name The Dark Pictures: Directive 8020 already a few months ago along with a trademark registration. Now there's the first teaser, promising a space setting.
According to this account, the story takes place in the Cetus constellation in space, where one is traveling in a reconnaissance vessel. The name Commander Stafford of the Cassiopeia is also mentioned; he reports minor damage to the hull after the ship was struck by something and is now en route to Tau Ceti f, a kind of super-Earth orbiting the Tau Ceti star.
However, things soon take a dark turn after Thomas Carter reports that another crew member, Simms, is trying to kill him.
The teaser was actually supposed to be kept under wraps until at least tomorrow, as the official review embargo is also about to end. The Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me still exists. This will only be released this afternoon and will provide insights into the fourth part of the anthology.
