Ubisoft has released another video for 'The Division 2' today, which this time focuses specifically on the Dark Zones, of which there are now several.
These quarantine zones were created during the failed attempt to rid Washington D.C. of a deadly virus. Where an insufficiently tested chemical was once used, players must now complete missions and fight their way through a path of destruction.
All three Dark Zones are introduced through separate story missions, allowing players to explore these areas without being killed by other players. To later gain access to the Dark Zone, special missions must be completed. Each zone then supports up to 12 players per session.
The developers took fan feedback to heart for the Dark Zones and further improved the demanding PVP/PVE concept to allow for different ways of playing.
The Division 2 will be released in March 2019.
