Developer HBO secured the license of the PGA Tour for 'TheGolf Club 2019'secure, which was previously owned by Electronic Arts and used within the games featuring Tiger Woods.
This gives HBO the opportunity to use the official PGA Tour courses and sponsors in their game. The cost of the deal is unknown. However, given that EA's PGA series is currently on hiatus, the partnership with The Golf Club seems like a sensible option. EA is still allowed to use the license, as the publisher has stated, but apparently has no current use for it.
The sequel from HBO Studios promises another authentic and realistic gaming experience, combined with a powerful and comprehensive course creation tool that allows players to create brand-new courses and share them with other players across platforms.
