Today, Team Kim joins the roster of 'The King of Fighters XIV', which SNK and publisher Deep Silver introduce in a new trailer for the fighting game.

Kim:  Kim is a serious person with a strong sense of justice. As an undisputed Taekwondo expert, he can stop his opponent's attacks with powerful kicking techniques. Kim is convinced that Taekwondo is the strongest of all martial arts and wants to prove it to the world.

Gang Il:  Gang-Il is the chairman of the World Taekwondo Federation and Kim's master. His impressive kicking techniques can break through any defensive posture. His and Kim's personalities could not be more different.

Lounge:  Loung is a femme fatale with murky motives. Her long legs strike her opponents like a whip. Loung met Gang-Il on his world-traveling battle tour and fell in love with him.

The King of Fighters XIV will be released in Europe on August 26, 2016.

Official academy stick coming soon

Today also saw the unveiling of the official arcade stick for the game, produced as usual by Hori. It features the new, slightly narrower Hayabusa buttons, programmable buttons, L1 & L2 buttons, and auto-fire. The stick will be available at the game's release.
