It wouldn't be really surprising if 'The Last Guardian' were now in development for PlayStation 4, however Sony has never confirmed the developers.
However, some recent statements from game creator Fumito Ueda now suggest that this is indeed the case, as can be read in the current issue of Dengeki PlayStation Magazine. When asked about the most memorable titles he has worked on that are still to be released, named Ueda directly 'The Last Guardian'.
“Talking to Sony about The Last Guardian has been refreshing and we are making progress under completely new conditions.”
In particular these "new conditions" This could suggest that The Last Guardian is now in development for PS4.
It remains unclear when the new release of the title can be expected.
