The HBO series about The Last of Us The celebrations continue, as the company received eight more awards at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards last night, including one in the Special Effects category.
The Last of Us (Our conclusion) was created in close collaboration with Naughty Dog and not only thrilled fans of the games, but also garnered widespread praise. In addition to Golden Globe Awards and MTV Movie Awards, it has now been honored with eight Creative Arts Emmy Awards. In total, the The Last of Us-Series has won over 40 awards in recent months.
A special award went to guest stars Nick Offerman (Bill) and Storm Reid (Riley), who were visibly moved at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
"I'm such a mess! This proves that you can do anything. I'm just a young girl from Atlanta, Georgia."
The Last of Us won in the following categories at the Emmy Awards:

- Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour) and Animation
- Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour)
- Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series
- Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series
- Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series
The Primetime Emmy Awards will also be presented soon, on January 15th, where The Last of Us is also nominated and has a great chance of winning further awards.

Filming for Season 2The series, which according to current plans will be divided into several seasons, was delayed following the writers' strike, which is why the start of production was postponed until next February. The premiere is finally planned for 2025.
