NIS America has confirmed the new release date for 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III' for this coming October, which means the title is delayed by about a month.
Trails of Cold Steel III plunges the player into a world of intrigue and thrilling adventure. They will visit never-before-seen locations and the Erebonian lands, encountering new faces as well as old acquaintances. In classic Trails style, this innovative RPG delivers a deep story with multifaceted characters and a revamped combat system.
Nearly a year and a half has passed since the Erebonian Civil War, and much has changed. The shadows of the past, ever-shifting states, the internal politics of the Empire, and the adventurous life of Rean Schwarzer pave the way for a new chapter in this world. A recent graduate of the Thor Military Academy, Rean, the hero of the first two installments, has risen from student to instructor at a newly established branch of the academy. This branch is quickly gaining national prominence. Here, he assumes leadership of the new Class VII and must guide a new generation of heroes into an uncertain future. For now, all is calm, but the nefarious Ouroboros organization is secretly plotting a conspiracy that could plunge the entire continent into war.
The release of #TrailsofColdSteelIII will be postponed to October 22 in NA and EU to ensure as successful a launch window as possible. A demo will be released prior to the game's release with details to come. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support. pic.twitter.com/cPJdyw8wUD
